Why i just quit the game

I normally do not rage quit a game, but I just quit the game and erased my level 83 character.
I am not a great gamer; I am a dad gamer, but I have beaten Demon’s Souls, DS1, DS3, Bloodborne, and Elden Ring more than once.

I love learning the mechanics of a boss, and I love when I finally manage to beat a tough boss.
For some reason, I lost the first time I fought the Architect, and that is fair. As I said, I love challenges, but here is why I lost all patience and motivation.

I now have to do a minimum of six maps and a minimum of eight rooms to fight him again. I suspect the last number goes up every time I fail. I need nothing from the rooms. The XP I can get from the maps is irrelevant, and the rewards are lame.

The only reason to enter the temple for me is to fight a boss that I already lost to, and that will cost me more than one hour for every attempt. That is not fun.

I will be back next season. Maybe.
