Any way to try the game without buying yet?

I’ve heard great things about this game and was hoping to jump in over the holidays, but I’ll need to hold off on buying for now. There may or may not be a free weekend on the next major content patch, which is likely to be about 3.5 months from now.
It'll also be f2p on full launch. |

There's a free weekend when a new league is released, every 4 months. Last one was 2 weeks ago so your timing is a little off, unfortunately.

Just wait until the next free weekend in a few months. It's not worth the money in it's current state.

Install and try POE 1, it's free, at least in the beginning :)

" I think it's quite worth it to many players here, even tho the forums - as most game forums - has a bias for criticism and negativity. 450 hours at the moment for 27.5€. I'd say 425 hours of those have been fun and 25 hours I've just idled around out of boredom or grudgingly did some content I didn't enjoy. At the moment still having fun playing my current build. " To me biggest issue was "will it run on my rig without any problems?". So Fate blessed me with new rig, in just the best moment - about two weeks before RAM situation we have - and just in time for free weekend. I tried, game run smooth so i bought EA. I guess in case of OP that would be similar situation. |
