Game hanging seriously needs fixing

It's been multiple leagues/more than half a year of this issue occuring and its worse than ever this patch.

game will cogwheel opening the map, in map, on the atlas, in your inventory and worst of all in the middle of boss fights almost every single map or in between every single map.

Switching to vulkan to get far worse performance is a terrible solution and no amount of cpu performance upgrades makes this feel any less bad.
