Staggering Palm bug

After patch 0.4 staggering palm is suppose to give you charges even if target dies or gets stunned during the dash. I've noticed that theres still times the projectile if you already have the buff kills the target during your dash you don't get any charges when you should be. I'm unsure about other palm skills as only tested staggering palm

killing palm has the same issue.
If you killing palm while your charged staff is up sometimes the charged staff projectile kills the enemy first and you do not get the charge.
