viper napuatzi ends most of my runs

First time I reach this boss ends most of my runs. Its wildly overtuned compared to any other fight.
The requirements are too specific in the sense that you need both very specific defenses and attack types early in the game. Some classes or builds seem overly punished. Its not even clear what all the damage types are when so much of the seeminly poison damage is physical. One also always seems to reach the fight underleveled and needing to just grind the map up to it over and over again which quickly becomes stale, hence why so many of my runs just end there. That one boss ruins my experience of this game. Its getting to the point where I feel like next time I make a character it will be just centered around being able to beat that one fight, because no other fight is an issue. How is this good design? They must have metrics showing how many folks end up having to recruit help to get by this one fight or flat out just quit. I've heard all the tips for this fight. " Hard disagree, imo Viper is the best boss fight in the campaign. Every attack is avoidable, its just a skill check. Also your feedback is incredibly useless. Could you be less specific? 1. What part about the fight do you think is unfair or badly designed? 2. If your underleveled everytime you reach the boss then that means you skip too much content by sprinting to the end. 3. What are these "very specific" requirements to defense and attack types that you speak of? Resistance and being able to hit the boss with your ability? | |

The reason is vague is because I'm pretty sure they have stats that show them how much trouble people have at various stages and brief searches show I am definitely not the only one. That should be enough for them to alter it.
Its highly resistent to everything but chaos and poinson. Great, that early in the campaign so many classes cant focus that. That early in the campaign there is little to no chaos resistence. I dont know why i reach that fight underleveled everytime. I clear entire maps when i play, yet everytime i am mid 40s at best and you need high 40s. I dont care that you find it easy. Pretty sure you are the minority. Their stats i bet tell a differnt tale, and I bet i proven right with yet more tunement to this cockblock of a fight. |

The boss has the same resistances/armor you would expect from any boss. Early in the campaign? Your at the end of act 3 mate. Also you dont need chaos resistance. " Then by definition your not underleveled. That would mean being lower level then what is intended for that content/boss. And if youve done every map up until that point then you are the intended level. This is also obvious since the boss is lvl 43. " Its just a skillcheck. The campaign should have checkpoints where they dont let you pass until you learn the mechanics of the game. You have a mountain of oppertunities to improve your gear and you have a spacebar. | |

Napurazi is one of the most fun bosses as she provides at least some challenge. I like 0.4 bosses in general as they are significantly harder than in 0.3.

if you're playing hc just get enough damage to kill her before she starts floating and becomes immune and the fight is super easy.

Viper is the worst boss in the campaign. Yes it's fun but at the same time you forced to deal with her invinsibility phase where most of time you dying from poison spears. If you dont have enough damage she can abuse that to the point there is no much field left and she shits poison everywhere. That why it's preferrable to quick burst her to prevent her doing this or allow her to do it no more than once (or die in the process because pepega EU servers can't exists without random lagspikes)
