PoE2: Negative Synergy Between Turning of the Seasons and Frost Bomb
|
In patch 0.4c of Path of Exile 2 there is a negative synergy between turning of the seasons ascendency of the shaman and frost bomb. The following interactions are highlighted in the video [1]:
1. When an enemy is in your presence, turning of the seasons applies exposure. If frost bomb affects that enemy in this case, it applies it initial exposure and one additional exposure stack from its pulses. All other pulses do not stack exposure higher. (Total 22% if no exposure mods present.) 2. Multiple frost bombs do not alter this. 3. Exposure modifiers on frost bomb still work as intended and will apply. (e.g. 26% total exposure with potent exposure support and nothing else.) 4. Frost bomb exposure will still expire and its duration is not overwritten by the exposure of turning of the season. (I tested this, because this could have been an explanation for the behaviour.) I presume that what is described in 1 is a bug. I presume that what is described in 3,4 is as intended, however I just wanted to provide as much information as possible. This is actually an incredible DPS loss and makes 4 ascendency skillpoints worthless.
Can we get a fix on that? |
