no, I mean it, delete that stupid monster from the game

and what did you do to kulemak fight? the whole screen is full of poison and what not, you re-enter the fight you have not a fraction of a chance cause you instantly get deleted by the poison that is still there but it wouldn't even matter cause kulemak can instantly re-apply it to the whole screen

it's basically the same non-sense like shade walker, is there a single person in the dev team who encounters this and still thinks it's fun? especially as melee? wow.


Edit: Kulemak just shoots his chaos/poison beam at you while you're in the 'safe zone' after respawning and you die inside this zone, like what the actual fuck.

Observe it, test it and see for yourself that this is not properly designed.

My problem with shade walker is mainly for playing melee. It is impossible to kill with high scaling thus it creates a big problem to farm endgame as melee.

As ranged there's no such problem as you can just shoot them down from range.

I think an easy fix would be not canceling out normal regeneration, there're already mods preventing all recovery above 50%, there shouldn't be one that just kills you through stacked regen and/or leech, make it only affect flask recovery, that is punishing enough and ranged don't have those other regen means usually

The best are the rare monsters in abyss with temp bubble shroud walker and mana siphon. They just appear directly on top of you and you die to chaos dmg in a second despite how chaos capped you are. Great game design truly. Not to mention all the green balls of chaos dmg exploding everywhere from trash mobs.
Stuff like this convinces me they don't test melee at all, because there is no way someone who plays the game and tests it would find a lot of the stuff in it fun or engaging.

Chaos res will not help you as It is desecrated ground, not chaos damage.

from wiki:
Desecrated Ground is a detrimental ground effect that deals physical damage over time and prevents recovery of life and energy shield while on it.

They are very annoying but the patch is static and spawned right after the teleport. Getting in the habit of moving out right after the teleport usually works pretty good. I think the damage is based on a % of your life which would make CI characters effectively immune to it.

It's just as annoying as soul eater in PoE 1. This should be deleted asap
Why the hell do some abyss monsters just not take damage sometimes?

I don't know what the deal is, I don't know if it's a bug, I don't know. It's giga aids to deal with.
