Disconnected and lost items in Vaal Temple

So right after updating to 0.4.0c I was running a Vaal Temple in a T7 map with the corrupted nexus all excited and full of hopes for better drops and overall better Temple experience than before. In the middle of it I got myself a nice Vaal Cultivation Orb and proceeded further to one of those Architect rooms that reside on the edge of the map. In this final room right after I "took" an Ancient Infuser item I got immediately disconnected from the game and couldn't login for a couple of minutes. After logging in I saw that I lost my T7 corrupted nexus map run along with the Ancient Infuser and also the Vaal Cultivation Orb disappeared from my inventory somehow as well. I got videos and screenshots as a proof if it helps. I think I'm gonna go lay down and play some other games in the meantime

Same issue here, though I'm only in Chapter 4, hoping for much needed upgrades due to limited resources. This has happened to me twice now, server disconnect while in Vaal Temple, log back in and back in town, there's a portal to Vaal Temple but a message comes up saying the other side is closed. One of the times I never even got to enter after activating the map. This is extremely frustrating since in order to regain access, it requires you to clear out multiple maps again to find and activate the portal crystals. Please address this ASAP, I do enjoy the new Vaal temple maps, but this is a heavy penalty for a simple disconnect, and this makes me just not want to bother with it.
