Moment of Vulnerability not compatible with weapon type

When using Converging Paths ascendancy node Moment of Vulnerability bugs and says it is unusable by weapon type despite using a talisman. This happens when going from wolf form to human form and I have to remove it with respeccing and removing support gems, then putting the point back into it before starting a map. Doing anything that involves interacting with the environment (talking to npc, accessing stash, using a lever, etc.) will change form to human thus breaks the skill.

I had this error the moment I got it.

Unfortunately this is not a bug. Moment of vulnerability is a spell and requires a wand or staff to use.
