Game crashes when attempting to login to one specific character

I finished Act I on a druid and spoke with The Hanged Man to move to the Vastiri Outskirts. The game crashed during the cutscene, and now I'm no longer able to access this character. I'm on Vulkan instead of DirectX 11, disabled multi-threading, tried opening the game with and without the PoE UnCrasher running, but nothing has worked. I can login to other characters just fine, it's only the druid who crashed between Act I and II.

The game is unplayable. I've now had two characters crash during the transition cutscene, and they crash the game if I try to load into either one of them regardless of what settings I've messed with. This is by far the buggiest game I've ever played, which is unfortunate because I really enjoyed act 1. Sending in a support ticket was pointless. All I got was a response telling me my ticket wouldn't be looked at and to make a post on the forums, and most of these posts never seem to receive a reply from GGG with a fix.
