Loading Times

the loading times are terrible.
i have one of the fastest nvme ssd drives you could get at the time and yeah, loading times are abysmal

i can nearly type up this post before i load back into town through portal

guess i can mention here the cog wheel texture loading that is still going on. just had it happen for first time this patch in Valley of the Titans act2. wonderful can't wait to suffer this once every other waystone

This is indeed a problem.

I have a very powerful computer and loading screens are insanely long.

I'm not sure if there's a setup we can change in game to improve that but, honestly, it's getting so bad to a point the game is getting much less enjoyable.

Buying something from someone on the market is tedious as hell, especially if the price is good and was listed a few seconds ago.

It can take like 30 second, for the char to join the instance and you can no longer buy the item because someone else bought it and there are like 15 people in the same instance.

This is seriously a problem and need to be adressed.

Loading times make me want to switch to do something else than play POE2.

And it's not even loading times of other people hideouts (with or without a lot of MTX). It's literally every zone: my own hideout, atlas map, waystones map.

Sometimes the loading time are relatively snappy, but sometimes it is half a minute. That inconsistency, "not knowing how long to wait" is what it makes feel especially bad.

EDIT: Loading into own hideout should be fast. It's so common place (should be in cache), I don't understand why it takes time.
