(POE2) "PoE1" player confused over "PoE2" shrine buff symbols
|
Hey all!
TL;DR The Enduring Shrine does not match PoE1 and it confused me, as the icon doesn't match my expectation to what the buff gives the player ![]() ![]() Unsure if this has been shared before, but I've noticed it's still around and it keeps bothering me every time I get far enough in the campaign to run into this particular shrine and get its effect. The shrine I'm talking about is the Enduring Shrine] (https://poe2db.tw/us/Enduring_Shrine). I know it's been brought up on Reddit 10 months ago, but in this forum I can't say for sure (https://www.reddit.com/r/PathOfExile2/comments/1j1y6xf/shrine_effect_symbols_they_dont_seem_correct/) But to get to my point, the reason why I'm confused and have been bothered the last campaign runs I've done is because I am a PoE1 player originally and have been used to running shrines on my atlas and on PoE1 the shrine with the same icon is called "Massive Shrine" (https://poedb.tw/us/Massive_Shrine) and gives increased life, AoE, and size which is different from what the PoE2 shrine does. Since there doesn't seem to be a shrine (https://www.poe2wiki.net/wiki/Shrine) that uses the "Impenetrable Shrine" (https://poedb.tw/us/Impenetrable_Shrine) in PoE2 my suggestion would be to replace the current shrine with that icon to better match a "defensive" buff effect rather than something most people who comes from PoE1 would resemble as an "AoE Size" buff Feel free to share your own thoughts, and call me crazy if that's what you want to do. Just wanted to highlight this on the forum, and this is my first post so apologize in advance for any typos. Dernier bump le 14 déc. 2025 à 10:38:04
