Herald of ash can't turn on.

I turned off herald of ash on bear and can't turn it on again. Says not usable with current weapon settings, Usingg a talisman and tried all other martial weapons refuses to turn on.

Seems like cutting a new gem will fix the issue. But turning it off again breaks it.

Don't waste time buying new gems. Go into gem options and reselect your weapon set. It will work again.
