Smith of Kitava Fire Spell on Melee Hit

Volcano skill says Spell and Fire but for some reason not able to socket it to my Fire Spell on Melee Hit ascendancy skill. Fire Spell on Melee Hit doesn't give any other conditions just Fire and Spell so Volcano either needs to be changed or the bug fixed, kind ruins the whole point of Fire Spell on Melee Hit.

Not a bug; you cannot Trigger skills which have the Channelling tag.

Also, PoE 2 bug reports belong in Early Access Bug Reports; not Bug Reports (Path of Exile 1).

they should remove the channeling tag theres very little reason to channel it anyways

It's made on purpose. Rampage (or Ancestral cry) +Volcano is too easy to abuse. Even with limit. And GGG don't want us to have fun in poe2
