Game hard crashed my console in the first 10minutes [PS5]

Excited to try Druid, got to the Ice Witch and my screen went black while she was summoning her second set of ice wolves, right as I went to Bear Slam.

I couldn't open Playstation menu, nor could I power off the console by holding power button, I had to unplug/plug back in to reset.
Went straight to Reddit to post the issue.

I tried booting the game an hour after and I got a message saying that my game has been corrupted, and that I would need to delete/ redownload the entire game again.

Kindly, play test your updates on every system before releasing them to the public so that they are AT THE VERY LEAST playable.
Unacceptable.
