What's the point in the druid class

The whole appeal of a druid is the shapeshifting and now you gave us a male sorcerer that gave us a class weapon. The last of the druids is a bad title considering every class can now be a druid as long as they equip a talisman. There will be no class identity bc the unique things about the class can be accessed by every class. Are we gonna get demon form so we dont have to play blood mage? Also why make each animal form associated with a specific element with the huge element imbalance that has been in the game since .1 you could at least have added nodes in the ascendancies to give the druid unique abilities if you choose the class instead of just playing another class that can shapeshift
