3.27 Build Help - CoC Exsanguinate

Hello everyone, taking a first attempt at a self-made build in a very long time. While my game knowledge has increased, I'm starting to struggle a little with where I need to take this build. I know it will never be a meta build (probably) but I'm having genuine fun with it! I am, however, frustrated with the lack of survivability.

So, to simplify, here are my questions:

What can I do to scale my defenses?

Aside from more power charges (which might be overkill at this point) what can I do to further scale my damage?

I'm currently working on getting Hatred added to the build, but I know my attack speed isn't high enough to reach the full potential. Even if it was, my health regen is too low for single target damage to be sustained.

Obviously I'm missing uber lab (taking knife in the back), I haven't used embers or ichor yet, and I'm sure there are some uniques I could use to synergize that I haven't thought of. I'm not even certain if I want to keep the Hrimsorrow right now.

Anyway, any and all help would be greatly appreciated!
