Zealot's Oath should work with Eternal life and yet it doesn't

So Zealot's Oath makes any excess HP regen go into the ES and Eternal life makes it so while having any ES the life can not change.

Well guess what happens when on any character the life is full? Yes, it does not change (unless hit or something of course). But so with both of these passives enabled and ES above 0 any hp regen is excess hp regen and should go into the ES. While the current state of the game just cancels regen when there is any ES and Zealot's Oath is useless.

Change my mind!

This looks like the chicken and the egg problem. Which one came first ?
If the effect of Zealoth's Oath applies before Eternal Life, then yes, one would expect the regen to be applied to ES.
But if the effect of Eternal Life applies first, i'm assuming they cancel the regen since they view regen as one possible form of life "changing".

However, ... Since in this case, the regen would do NOTHING since you're already at full life, i agree with you. No matter which one procs first, i'd expect the regen to be applied to shield.

Yes exactly. I don't get why Eternal life would cancel any HP related effect.
