End Exp taking after kill or reduce the exp loss pls

I would like to write that death penalty on experience is absolutely ridiculous, 100hours 200hours of loss in one death is like a weeks worth of playing, its not fair, the omens dont work properly, and we need higher tier maps above so we can get more of the exp after we lose, its really hard to get the experience back please do something, I have calculated that you need 1,200 hours to get from 97 to 98 if you have 3,000,000 exp per hour please do something I absolutely adore this game but it hurts to have such time wasted on death thank you and hope to see some changes soon

Confused, to go from level 1 - 98 its 3,600,000,000ish exp at 3,000,000 exp hour that's 1,200 hours - from level 1. where 12k H come from?

I totally agree with what you said I have a 97 level and so many times that I have went back to beginning is crazy and I feel like this game doesnt respect the players time because I play days and days to game experience so yeah I would like something to be done about this as well

Ive amended it my mistake but still doesn't change the fact of the topic that its still a big problem I wouldn't have a an issue if the omens would work and the loss wouldn't be so much more compare to the gain

About omens. Have you even seen how much they cost? And how fast are they getting more expensive? That's because the Ritual tablets don't drop at all!

Exp loss is painful but I think it is a necessary evil. Because it really differentiates between the better players and the not so good players. poe2 is currently the king of the arpg for the reason that the game is difficult, complicated, punishing, time consuming and extremely painful to progress. If things become easier, then most likely the game will die. People look down on games that are too easy. The streamers will stop playing. The content providers will also stop playing. This is a game scaling issue, not an experience loss issue. The game simply doesn't scale to 100, but they allow us to play to 100. Its bait. Maybe poe1 is the same way, I don't know, but its still bait. If you are 70ish and die, you lose the 10% and you don't care, because you can gain it right back. This is the issue. Experience stops scaling and you can't gain the losses right back. Blink once if they are holding you against your will. |

" That's the entire point. The last few levels are a grind on purpose, there is no meaningful gain to them. It's just bragging rights. This is not diablo, level 100 is not required. |

Just make it the same as POE 1
I have now played both Before POE 2 my last ARPG was Diablo 3 on release, played campaign only, as a new player to both POE 1 and POE 2 I afk a lot so much slower than most. POE 2 - 1430 hrs same character = Level 99 25% POE 1 (Keepers league) - 170hrs = Level 95 (yes alot of what i learned in POE 2 crosses over). There is a reason POE 2 ladder top 500 / hundreds of thousands of players are level 100 last time i checked. POE 2 exp does not work in a league game. POE 1 its perfect. P.S
