Cannot Equip Unique 2 Handed Mace with Giant's Blood

Hello, on PlayStation 5, I have the Empty Roar Cultist Greathammer. I have the Tree finger Mittens which grant Giant's Blood. I have met the 123 str requirements (the triple str requirements from the original 41 str). The Greathammer (which counts as a two handed mace) does have two life leech runes in it, which do not increase the str further. However, the 123 str is still red, while I do have more than enough str of 130.

What is going on here? It really sucks that this bug is preventing me from one handing this item. I have read that I might need to take out the runes. But, those do not add any requirements and, unfortunately, there still is no way to just remove runes without replacing the runes (this really needs to be added as a function in this game). Please fix this problem. From what I have seen on forums, this has been an on-going unfixed issue for a while now.
