Solution: Manually edit the config file to use DirectX12, changing config in game hangs POE2

1) Navigate to your game's configuration folder. This is typically located at:
Documents\My Games\Path of Exile 2\poe2_production_Config.ini
2) Open the poe2_production_Config.ini file using a text editor like Notepad.
3) Find the line that reads renderer_type=Vulkan.
4) Change the value to renderer_type=DirectX12.
5) Save the file and close the text editor.
6) Attempt to launch Path of Exile 2 again

By chance, do you now have an error upon starting up saying 'Exception:GetAdapterInfo:'?

This worked for me. I even tried rolling my adrenaline back an update and it still didn't work when using Vulkan. Hopefully some fix comes soon, as I'd rather use Vulkan than DX12.

Everything was working fine for me until yesterday too.
