If rarity is good on gear, why isn't quantity coming back?

If you like this direction, surely you just want more of it. And much like on maps, you could also add Pack Size on gear.

The entire magic find system in this game is overconvulated and I think it's one of the worst aspects of the game.
Stacking rarity on gear. Transforming waystones to have rarity finding tablets that have rarity finding good unique maps to use all this shit on... Massive time sink. monotonous. And I wouldn't be surprised if it's the reason that a lot of players just play the first month or two. Reach their goals and then bail till the next season. Because this is not something you want to be repeating ad infinitum. The tower system was all around just better imo. Thay have +% quantity of gold dropped(in poe1 and 2) so they are still dabbling with it

They are trying to hide it with a. different maps, where you don't have control over (agency of content) b. random atlas with random weighted generated maps, because they do not want to give you more unique maps/corruption/citadels per revealed segment. Each section has predefined cluster options. c. tablet management every 4-10 maps (tablet counter of max.10) d. tablets to buy from trade or worse (3 to 1, after picking up and storing in your stash and later rediscover to reforge) e. random content per map layout (weighting higher towards wisps and stone summoning-circle with random tier-5 items you do not need) However, they did start to work on good map layouts. That has improved since 0.2 for the endgame. |
