Problem with my most recent build-making experience
|
- Set out to make some weird minion-life build.
- Realize that Titan is ultimately better because it's too generic. Don't even get to be minions for the first many levels because of lack of inc damage. - Compromise on that, despite the awkward effect that has on motivation. Starting as a witch. - Realize that Chaos leveling is some stupid factor faster than trying to kill anything with dead minions. (This is not the first time I've felt that). - Gradually starting to prioritize Chaos over minion damage because respecing isn't an issue. - Ditch the build because I'm playing the most generic chaos build. Thoughts on above: Interweaving some chaos skills with minions would be okay if chaos didn't dwarf my fantasy. I didn't want the minions to be delivery-mechanisms for more clear speed. To be clear, I'm completely stuck on the contagion-spreading being literally impossible to complete with (can't say that in poe1). It saddens me that the devs are not taking overpowered poe1 mechanics more seriously. PoE1 comparison: Up until recently in poe1, poison-prolif has been stuck on 1 low-damage ascendancy (Pathfinder). In poe2, it was thrown into the game at level 1, to be used by anyone who has 4 int and deals physical or chaos damage. I would probably still be unsatisfied if it was a lvl 13 gem. Setting fire to poison clouds is supposed to work well, if you want the minions to be active and meaningful.
https://maxroll.gg/poe2/build-guides/skeletal-sniper-infernalist-build-guide SSF Rise of the Abyssal Ice Strike Invoker, high survivability and fast clear speed. Deprioritize armor and resistances; prioritize crafting a weapon and faster start of ES recharge. Build is shown at level 47, end of Act 3. It tore through Act 3 like butter.
