Lightning warp.

You warp into a group and are instantly stuck.

Plus, all the monsters in the back have not been attacking, so their attacks are ready and the INSTANTLY unload on you. Bot reaction time- I mean whatever, but I think its stupid.

Obviously I won't warp into groups as its completely unreliable and roll won't get me out.

I want to go in though.

I like using it with nova projectiles on ball lightning and having the skill “ turn the clock back “ it makes the lightning just slow enough so that you can warp to all of them and are pretty hard to hit. It drains a ton of mana doing this though, so be able to handle that.
Lightning Warp gets me killed all the time because it doesn't work in the worst of times. Stone Citadel Doorway surrounded by high delirious mobs. It really hates working in doorways. Oh and in boss rooms. About 20% of the boss rooms youre going to die if you try to use it like you're suppposed to.
Actually the light stun are the worst part, when you cast Ball lightning and get hit, you wont be able to use lightning warp. also the burst damage of delirium mirror mobs when you accidentally step on them its a fraction of a second and your dead.

Theres also a weird thing that it casts slow, but if you mash it and there are multiple targets at cull- it'll instantly spam through a bunch of targets.

So the initial cast is slow, all followup casts are instant.

I know what you mean but what helps a lot is to just stop casting and let your 15k+ hp/sec regen sustain you and try to roll away from them. Its also nice to have a dueling wand so you can just hold down spellslinger waiting to insta cast some lightning balls at 400% movement speed. But you're right It definitely happens.
This is a spell for multi-proj ball lightning + temporal rift chronomancer skill so you can escape back with all your hp.

If you're using it as an offensive push into mobs without an escape plan you're just asking to be surrounded and killed.

I can see it being good if you have some kind of quick recovery on block/recoup mechanism in place but if you're just a "don't get hit" vanilla es-recharging convalescence-cooldown-watching spell caster, you're playing in the opposite manner that your defenses suggest you should when you charge into the crowd.
