Trial of chaos - Bouncy ball on lifts (Elevator platform)

I just got into an event where I had to take the lift up to a chaos gem on top and got stuck

Got bounced from the top to the bottom and mobs plowed me from both the top and bottom, could not escape or run anywhere but the platform lift. Bugged!

The lifts (Elevators) have been an issue for a VERY log time now
