item filter not working

Every item keeps showing. Filter seemingly doing nothing.

PoE1 or 2?
Which platform?
Built-in filter or custom?

POE1 same issue here, was not working on launch with in game or custom filters. Then was working 10 hours ago and now not working again.

Edit: on Xbox, and restarting game doesn’t fix it and neither does refreshing the custom filter I’d like to be using. All the in game filters just all do ‘default’ filter. Which makes game not worth playing.

Edit 2: hard rebooting Xbox fixes this issue.

What do you do to hard reset your Xbox?

The guaranteed and lazy way is to go to settings-general-network settings-advanced settings-alternative MAC address-clear. This will then reboot the Xbox and your filters will work for that session. I have found that it only lasts that one gaming session and then bug comes back.

Update on this issue, the hard reset is NOT a fix it is a workaround. The problem WILL return, just did for me.

I started waiting 30 seconds after launching Path of Exile, before logging into my character. The built-in filters have worked since then.

The waiting 30 seconds didn’t work for me at all, and got fed up of this bug returning again and again so have deleted PoE completely from my Xbox and reinstalling it.
Will update later if this fixes this permanently, as seems to be only a few affected by this else this thread would be much bigger.

Reinstalling did not fix the issue at all. Back to having to hard reboot my Xbox every play session :(

Since yesterday, the filter here hasn't been working either.
