Mob balance.

The game is not fun when its crazy unpredictable. We have mobs within the same map doing nearly crazy damage in proportion to other mobs. Such as runic monsters. Now, obviously we have modifiers at play. This particular group was +35% of x and another +35% of another x. SO, 70% more damage. Its difficult to know what that means, so you kinda gotta just fuck around and find out. Nothing on the map was really hurting me, and I don't want to plan out what specific tombstones or whatever they are called to grab. I just look for immune stones and drop the bomb. I run with one bomb, cause, again, the whole process is kinda meh. This equates to mobs instantly pegging my ailment thresholds and rares hitting me for 33% energy shield with one tiny auto. So, frozen, ignited, all sorts of dead. Can semi play around it, but I'm also clicking all the items on the ground- which I can't see since I want to play with z off... so its kinda gross. The item clicking thing is just crazy to me. I don't want to SEE them, muchless click on them. Its critical to be able to move consistently and accurately. I also don't know how this interacts with the map mods. If they had +30% x, is it now +30 +35 +35, probly. So it makes sense that I'm getting bent over; however is this the experience we want to create? Are the rewards worth this experience? Absolutely not. Then I think all we're doing is creating an annoying experience where I'm just going to skip the extra content. I mean, if the loot was nuts, yeah I'd be down- then its also something I can actually control. Its just an extremely low percentile chance I'm going to see anything of value. My main point is risk and reward. The bottom line is, I'm not going to get anything cool for making my enemies do crazy damage- so what am I doing? Yeah, I don't know either. Then of course, since I'm here, the abyssal rares are always quite overtuned compared to the other content- and the striders are way way overtuned- mostly just their speed and melee. im serious.
Look at your exp bar. Look at your gold. Look at your orbs. Sacrifice some dps or defense and push magic find up. Then run nothing but Blue maps. Run them fast one after another , honestly if the boss looks at all like it would be challenging, bail on the map immediatly!! do not pose any challenge to yourself!! don't die. Do not do extra content! Do not do delerium , ritual NOTHING!! NO Abyss. Just chain run blue maps!! You will hit lvl 100 You will be rich You will be wearing top end gear. Try it.... It is the ideal game play. In PoE2 your enemy is greed and boredom. Dernière édition par LewtDeezNuts#1011, le 24 oct. 2025 à 17:19:45
