Season 3 feedback - Blood Mage, Stormweaver spells and infusions

Season 3 my 2 most played characters are
Blood Mage - lvl 95, farming juiced deliriuous t15s Stormweaver - lvl 86ish, stopped around t13s So its fair to say I tried playing most spells in Elementalist and Witch skill books (casted ones, not minions) My general feedback Spells feel _better_ but still have some ways to be improved. Stormweaver ascendancy infusion interactions feel BAD. Blood Mage feedback - this ascendancy is GREAT. I did NOT PLAY the meta spark build, played blackflame firespells build. Blood Mage ascendancy is AWESOME. Once you ascend there is an immediate difference in playstyle and power. Most passives are well thought out. The worst one by far is the "curse reserves 15% life" -- complete garbage. The life flask to physical dmg conversion is OK, niche, 2nd worst one. Everything else is really really good IMO. Stormweaver - well this one has a lot to improve. The "infusions reappear 3 sec after being collected" is complete garbage, clunky and slows down gameplay flow. The "chance to collect infusion of different element when collecting infusion" is really bad too, it should be "chance to create infusion when creating an infusion" - yes it would be free infusions all over the place but it's the only way to make that talent worth spending. "thingies that cast on critical" - complete GARBAGE. Even if it was allowed to crit it'll still be garbage. This needs to be completely reworked IMO. "+1 spell limit to elemental" - idea is OK but the placement makes this talent garbage too. "Arcange surge" branch is excellent and is obviously highlight of stormweaver. "double shock" and "double chill" are good too and have their uses. Spells S-Tier: Fusilade, Solar Orb (both do insane single and clear) A-Tier: Arc, Incinerate, Fireball, Spark (my placement, obv great spell still) General spell feedback "Comet" great spell , has clear pros and cons, with enough investmenet super powerful All 3 highest level spells - cooldowns need to go way down. Feels they only slapped cooldown on those to justify the exstence of chronomancer. - bad idea IMO Frost spells - they are all MEH. Sure with super gear and lots of investment they can be good, however baseline they are bad. Too low damage, yes they freeze everything and thats about it Infusions - lets keep cooking. A bit undercooked but fun to interact with, however infusions generation need to be thought out a bit more. BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH INFUSIONS - it feels spells are intentionally BAD without being infused. There are only a couple spells that are decent without infusions - comet, lightning warp, incinerate come to mind as usable uninfused. Fireball is most egregious example - the non infused fireball is complete and total garbage. Make spells better without infusions and make infusions rewarding but not required. I have a lot more to add but going to stop for now. And now for the MOST ANNOYING ISSUE of the season - please OPTIMIZE the game. It's too laggy / slow at times and compared to more optimized ARPGS (D4 lul) feel really bad to play. Dernier bump le 23 oct. 2025 à 00:04:21
