Cold resist from Beira didn't apply

I killed Beira of the Rotten Pack and used the item that gives you +10% to cold resistance, but it didn't apply my cold resist. I am currently in Act II with a cold resist of -10%. Is there a way I can reacquire the item to try using it again?

Maybe some unique with -res?

Ah you're right, I could have sworn I swapped out the unique ring I was wearing that did that. My bad for not paying attention to details better.
