Azmeri spirits are terrible.

I've decided, i will ignore them completely from now on, they are soooooooooooooo slooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww and annoying. Why did you bring escort missions to poe2? its tarnishing this beautiful game.

Azmeri spirits should be 2x-3x faster (at least a bit faster than the player, always, so they should have the same movement speed or smth) and the range they require for us to be near should be like 3x farther away.

I've seen some other suggestions on how to improve it, it's just a sad mechanic really.

"My solution to this is simple: Change it so that Azmeri Spirits will follow you until you have killed x amount of monsters. Once that amount of monsters has been reached, the Spirit itself turns into a Rare or Unique Mob. This gets rid of all the issues the current system has."

Anything really, anything else is better than azmeri spirits.

I once died to the boss while waiting for the spirit to posses the boss

From then on i swore to kill the spirits by clearing all rares first xD
That a pretty good idea.
My biggest issue with them is that they won't drop spirits unless you've killed enough enemies, but all too often there aren't any to kill.
I think they are spendid.

Gotten few times good amount of div/ex from them.
There are no rewards for them. About 15% of the talismans have been collected. For a fox and a hare, you need to drop a talisman 100%. They're already super rare.

And then you follow a slow ass spirit through the map, dodging the annoying sh*t it spawns right on top of you, and -oops- kill the Rare it was targeting before it possesses them, SO YOU DID ALL THAT FOR NOTHING. Not that you would really get anything in the first place. Possessed monsters don't drop anything 90% of the time. EVERY spirit should drop a talisman
They need to fix the movement/possession issue. Following you around and then an obvious animation(w/ delay so you don't get instagibbed) of it turning into a rare is great for this.

Then they need to fix the loot. So good stuff can drop, yay, but it's crazy rare. And it's rare to even get wisps. They should make wisps way more common(3+ a map when spec'd) or make them always drop a talisman.
I want Spirit mechanics reworked as well.

Spirits should stay near the edge of your screen, always out of reach. They shouldn't time out, just S L O W L Y lose potency, if anything. Their range of influence could increased, possibly doubled.

I have additional thoughts but those are the bare minimums.
Don't get lost by being so focused on the target that you forget to enjoy your surroundings.

U can use tablets. If done as you suggested+tablets, there will be like 15 of wisps in maps. I've gotten 5-7 wisps on tops. Ritual+Tablet
