Stun Threshold - Flinching Needs To Die

I stopped playing before leagues started. Came back because I heard you made improvements.
Unfortunatly making the wise decision to delete flinching on damage / stun thrsh hold was not one of them.

Spent ~$600 originally. Spent ~$200 this league.

Likely not playing again until stun threshold / flinching on damage is removed. Horrible design. Absolutely horrible design.

It apparently was not part of POE1, no idea where you pulled this from, as it was not part of D2 either (source material for POE1).

Stop trying to reinvent the wheel, ARPGs are for blasting screens of mobs. Not for perpetually rolling for 30s until you have a DPS window.

Learn your role.

I promise you, this WILL BE a hill you die on. No ARPG player enjoys MMO mechanics. I say this as a D2/3/4 (hated the D4 uber design, they fixed it) and WoW player. Entirely different games.

its probably the mechanic i hate the most, throw in a little theft of power charges on top of it in the simulacrum and its just straight up not fun

Hope this guy makes good on his last 10 promises to try and refund his money so he can stop whining. I swear every post of his is like him tripping over a rock, and instead of getting back up writes a wall like "FEET ARE BROKEN DOGSHIT, HOW COULD THE DEVS ALLOW FEET TO RELEASE IN THIS STATE?! DOGS LITERALLY HAVE 4 AND RUN FASTER, WHY ONLY GIVE US TWO LEGS?! put like 4 points into stun theshold and you'll be fine. you don't need to save literally every point for increased lightning damage

2026 and this guy is still yapping

No stun threshold or immunity on ranged characters here. Cancel out of sprint with dodge roll or an action. You can cancel out of any attack/spell too. This is a non-issue in my experience.

Take an anti-stun charm and some passive nodes on tree to increase your stun treshold. If your energy shield is higher than life, take the nodes that scale with energy shield.
Please try to figure out a solution for your issue instead of demanding mechanics to be deleted next time.

You seem to be confused.

Supporter packs are for mtx and points, not for being used as "design the game the way I demand it be designed" bargaining chips.

And you don't need to buy them before you play the game to see if you like it and want to get the points/mtx.

I hope you don't apply a similar fiscal policy to other purchases.

But if you do, I'd like to let you know that I'm selling a pair of my socks on marketplace for $30 but if you give me an extra $800 I'll dye them a fancy colour and send you the rest of the leftover dye to use as you desire along with a free T-shirt with a picture of the socks on them and an art boot depicting concept art of what I imagined the dyed socks would look like and also a copy of Big Shiny Tunes 3 CD from 1998 which I will play when I dye the socks and will be the soundtrack.
