Stop allowing overlapping boss mechanics
GGG, Seriously. Wsa just in Yama HC fight. This is a CAMPAIGN BOSS, not an end game boss. At no point, if you have a move that one shots the player should ANY OTHER MECHANIC BE OCCURING. Had Yama jump onto the pillars, normal day. Then he INSTANTLY (i had just gotten to the first pillar to clear it) threw me into the clone chase. And of course it bugged out not showing me WHICH clone was safe. So I died. But even if I HAD seen which clone was safe, RIGHT BEFORE the explosion happened, all the Yama clones on the pillars threw their AOE attacks at me. Which would have meant I had to dodge OUT of the safe spot to survive the clone attacks, meaning there was no way to live. There NEEDS to be a flag on insta kill moves (at least in campaign) that checks to see if another mechanic is happening FIRST, BEFORE the instakill mechanic pops.

I agree. Overlapping mechanics, no matter if it’s in endgame or story fights, make the battle feel more random than a real challenge. Sometimes the mechanics stack in such a way that you literally have only one outcome — death. When two mechanics happen at once and cover all the safe spots for the player, you’re just left hoping you survive by luck. You were all hyping up your bosses and epic battles with them, but where’s the epicness if there’s no real choice to survive?
