Meaningful combat feedback - suggestion
I don’t understand why GGG haven’t implemented truly powerful cooldown skills — something like Hammer of the Gods, but 20 times stronger. Why are channeling skills so weak? They should deal massively higher damage, while instant skills remain strong because speed is everything in this game. And why do combos only deal maybe twice the damage, when you have to press multiple buttons and risk dying to pull them off? Why isn’t it allowed to have such skills, when people are already deleting bosses with basic skills in just one second anyway?
With this approach, players who have fully optimized builds could still clear content instantly with their basic skills, as usual. But at the same time, players with weaker builds would also have a fair chance to clear content by using combos, channeling skills, and powerful cooldown abilities. If leap slam clears 70% of the screen then Hammer of the Gods used by the same character should fully clear 4 screen of monsters.
