Technical Feedback: Old junk pc, 0 crashes, 0 teleport lags expect fps

MY pc:
- i7 7700k - no turbo, no overclocked, normal speed.
- 16Gb ram ddr4, 2133mhz.
- 1070 8Gb running at almost 2000mhz instead of 1600.
- Average joe ssd.

Poe2 gameplay:

- 1070 runs at 2000mhz @ 60°C due me checking on it via msi afterburner.
- i7 7700k, never goes about 50°C.
- Ingame shader from vulkan is always active.
- 110~ fps at normal gameplay, 1-10 fps at frost, fire on ground or to many enemies with those efects.
- Seetings, low to medium, some off, textures high. Sadly cannot remove bloom.

- My 16gb ram is to low. 32Gb ram should be more appropriate.

( I'm accepting donations for better pc :D - one can dream, right )

How i setup my pc:

- I disable; Steam->downloads->pre chace. It lags out my pc to death if i would play other games expect poe2.

- installing vc-redist then restart. I play several other games, so it important for me, to have really stable gaming experience. This could also be a problem with poe2 as it might be missing some vc-redist to make the game more stable.

- Cable not wifi. Wifi will lag me out for gaming and dc's.

- With poe2 i noticed, playing on vulkan is way to go. Sometimes the game won't load, so i have to restart it.

- Then i de-bloat the windows 10. So all junk is removed and i got "skeleton" windows 10. Skeleton in meaning; I got only stuff i really really need, that's all.


When i get 1-10 fps.

- Boss that encircles itself in ice - 1-2 fps.
- Frost, fire on ground.
- Frost, fire on enemy's, when there is many many of them.

Edit: 4.10.2025

- I disabled upscale filter and my game runs much much better and more stable fps.
- Due to disabled upscaler my loading time has severely improved across the board. From loading into the game to the opening of atlas.


Developers: If for reliable and verified opinion of my, my dxdiag is needed. I will gladly provide it.

Damn man, if I ever upgrade my GPU I’m sending my old one to you lol.
