PoE1 had more player choice in endgame content.

In PoE1 you could
- Be a mapper
- Be a bosser
- Be a Delver
- Specialize purely in Tota (for that season)
- ...

In PoE2 you have to be able to do everything. You'd think it be fun but instead its just limiting how you can enjoy the game.

I personally really liked the maven nodes and just specializing my character for that, blowing through the maps. Of course this would never work in PoE2 maps with how mobs seem to rush choke points, how the map deliberately chooses to put Breach spawns in unavoidable locations such as tiny bridges, and Abyss Spawns inside of boss rooms.

I wouldn't say the solution is to remove bosses from every map but at least, like in PoE1, allow the player to complete the map in multiple ways. Or rethink the whole atlas system, I kind of find it limiting and painful to search through anyway and think its a miss.

Yes. And don't forget also be a heister or a blight runner. Sure, that content could be on its way but I presonally doubt it as most people hate heist and blight. But currently it feels like they're turning PoE2 back into PoE1, just without most of the PoE1 league content. What's the point anymore?
you know that being early access will be like this right?

-a third of the passive tree is "not being used"
-game lacks half of the characters
-still missing ascendancies for most of the characters
-at least a third the skills are not present (flail, sword, dagger...)
-more acts will point towards more content (monsters, mechanics)

this kind of feedback is useless...don't even try to ask ggg to rush things...
WHAT!?!??!?! A 12 year old fully released game has more content than a game in beta? OMFG, who could have guessed.
