Basic Endgame Tweaks Suggestions

0.3.1 has majorly improved endgame, however I have a few thoughts that I believe would make it close to perfect:

TLDR: freedom of movement (the concept, not the the passive notable) and visual clarity are the biggest pain points by far in the game in my opinion, now that towers are gone. Suggestions below...

De-clutter the ground in all maps. Even large open maps have gaps that you can't cross or attack across, and characters are constantly getting stuck on these types of obstacles, and many times there is so little visual clarity that you can't see them. The floor is like swiss cheese in some maps, and then indoor maps have too many small decorative objects and edges with jagged collision boxes. In general, the terrain in most maps prevents freedom of movement, which is extremely important in ARPGs. I understand a lot of this is probably there to add "challenge", but it is simply a huge point of frustration imo. In short, just clean up the ground and smooth out collision bodies on the terrain and decorative objects, so we feel like we have better control of our characters and stop stubbing our toes on everything.

Make sprint able to quickly change direction (and allow for a separate keybind without being tied to dodge roll). Between the above paragraph about ground clutter and this version of sprint, the game constantly makes me feel like the mounts in D4 did when it first launched before they improved it, which is a BAD feeling to have as often as I do currently.

Visual clarity needs major work. I don't know a good suggestion for this if the game is going to have this many monsters, each with so many effects they can have. Honestly I think a lot of it has to do with the Archnemesis style mod system, which I think is bad and have made another post about, so won't rant about it here.

Further reduce map sizes and remove checkpoints from endgame entirely. Keep them in campaign only. They still feel like a band-aid that could be removed once map sizes are appropriate. Now that there is a boss in every map, and rare icons are gone, I am reminded of why checkpoints were never necessary in PoE1. I am finally enjoying mapping almost as much as I did in PoE1!

Not too big of an issue for me, but I do think for most people a 5 mod map with 1 retry attempt should unlock the 3rd tablet slot, rather than requiring 6 mods with zero revives.

Not sure what y'all are cooking up for 0.4, but I can't wait to see further improvements... this game is starting to get juicy!

especially the 5 mod waystone getting 3 tablets. game is way too unstable for most running without a retry
