Abyss Monsters and Descecrated Ground
The Descecrated Ground (DG) modifier on abyss monsters is too strong. It blocks any form of life or energy shield recovery and applies physical damage over time if you're around it.
I almost always die on my titan when I encounter this modifier- when running maps there's too much going on to notice when an abyss monster has DG. There's no way to defend against this besides staying away from the monster emitting it. That's a no go for warrior since I have slower animations and I'm constantly surrounded/body blocked in juiced up T15/16 maps. To make it even worse- a lot of warrior builds, including mine, spend life instead of mana to attack through blood magic or support gems. When an abyss monster has DG- all they need to do is stand next to me and my titan kills himself. I believe this is the same case for certain witch builds. My titan is level 96 going for 97. All other content in the game is not a problem- including max level simulacrum. DG is solely responsible for my characters deaths at this point. It makes me want to stay away from Abysses because losing XP at 96 is so detrimental. That sucks because I love doing the Abysses, it's extremely fun content packed with tons of monsters. But I run the risk of immediately dying before I can react due to one monster with the DG modifier. Dernier bump le 2 oct. 2025 à 12:34:57
