New 0.3.1 Patch Opinons
Overall, the patch was a good idea to remove the issues of needing to path through unrewarding maps to get to towers. But, with the limited content currently available in the game to engage with in maps, maps by themselves are currently not good enough for the repetitive gameplay loop. Therefore, you rely on searching for citadels and the new powerful map bosses as the way to tradeoff having to run maps you don't like for the new atlas system and lack of content, which does not cut it for an ARPG sadly.
To be honest, as I said in a previous post the tower system itself was not an issue but players having to go through bad and empty maps to get to towers and get new maps was the primary issue. Also, unlocking a tower and having half of the maps you would want to cover with the new tower buffs was another issue with towers. Therefore, I believe the tower system should still exist as another thing to give players incentive to juice their map similar to the pylon system I mentioned previously. Otherwise, the new system sadly does not stand on its own, especially given the high range rolls on the tablets modifiers. Dernier bump le 1 oct. 2025 à 16:09:34
