Lower enemy damage and limit one-shots

One-shots are honestly what has ruined the fun of playing this game for me since day one. Enemy damage is ridiculously overtuned in this game to the point of absurd where even with max res you die in a blink of an eye. I don't understand what the point of this game design is where 99% of deaths are not something that the player can react to or in most cases even tell what exactly killed them. I'm playing a minion build now, max res, I have my minions take all the agro, I go through a map clearing everything no problem and then always randomly boom, I get one shot by fuck knows what. This is extremely annoying and I don't think you are even in control of the damage values some monsters can reach as some rare monsters can literally hit for 10000x what other monsters do and will one shot no matter what even from a whole screen away. Enemy damage should be massively reduced in general but most importantly, I think you should put a cap or some kind of control over the damage values that the hardest hits from mobs can reach as these are completely out of control. Right now there's no proper way of playing the game to not die other than clearing the whole screen in a single button press or staying a whole screen away from mobs and rolling around non stop like crazy because any single hit can be an instant death. That's just an idiotic game design and should be the first thing to fix before you even touch anything else. ESPECIALLY since you put a limit on how many times certain content can be attempted which is also a brain-dead design, but I've already made a post about that...

Monster HP should be scaled up and our possibility of scale defensive layers - slowering gameplay and making it more for a promised meaningful and methodical combat. GGG never know how to balance and stay with promises, they constanly lie "with no itentions?" about delievering something and at all we are all ending in sick of you are one shotting or everything one shotting you. Nothing else.
I agree, I'd rather see way fewer monsters that possibly have more HP but deal overall less damage. This would allow for more strategic gameplay where you can actually tell what's happening on the screen and make meaningful decisions to dogdge, position yourself and attack with interesting skill combinations. Right now it's just overtuned chaos and overall mess where the best builds are just one button clear builds and that's it.

i think GGG just give up on "methodical and slower combat" and want to make it to poe 1 - just over-stimulating fast pace, screen explosion game with no identity at all. It's easier to just buff everything than balance game with itentions.
im not sure if they really know how end-game now looks like, how easy is to gear up, how fast is entry-point to end-game and how trivalized campain is.

Our defensive effectiveness needs to be increased and monster damage nerfed

Only then should they look at buffing monster HP imo

Breach and Delirium need to be removed from the game so there's no timers that reinforce clear speed.

Only then should they look at buffing monster HP.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

Yeah it's an issue, damage can go extremely high, way beyond our EHP which is why "kill or be killed" is the mantra for most of the end game.
