Currency is overabundant

Hello,

currency feels overabundant. I just played PoE 1 again and in all my playtime, and I am level 72 now, I only got one exalted orb and like 15 alchemy orbs. But I like that, because it makes me consider using the currency much more carefully than in PoE 2, which granted I played a lot more, but still I have like 130 alchemy orbs or something and when I use them it's without thinking. And I like to have to consider carefully how to spend my ressources.

Currency drop rate felt in a good place this league (not sure how it's now after the tower changes). Game needs a lot more currency sinks tho because the inflation is a huge problem.

You might enjoy being starved for currency but I don't. I was still feeling the lack of regals going through the campaign. I got very few usable essences so their plan of us having those to deal with it failed for me.

Well I believe that in PoE 2 there is the problem that you have lots of currency, so you can trade for whatever you want, so looting becomes irrelevant, except if it's currency. PoE 1 doesn't seem to have that problem, which makes all the systems work together better. That is my opinion.
