Why take away rare icons?

Not even mentioned in the patch notes. Now if I want to clear the rares the maps take longer then they used to.

Wouldn't be an issue if I was fully in control of the maps I run.

I used those icons to hunt essences, get more maps, find abyss.

You made it cool for boss rushing, but penalized people who liked the icons.

Is there feedback that the icons were bad? I never saw it. All the feedback was that the completion requirement was bad.

Make map completion require killing the boss OR all rares.
You literally just posted this after i posted my thread haha glad im not the only one that sees this as an issue.
Yes please! Let us see the rares on the minimap again. This is unfair to those who hunt rares!
This is trash. They built this for the speed runners and screw the rest of us?

Speed runners can just hug the edge of the map and find the boss within 2 minutes, but for me to find all the rares, I have to play Inspector Gadget and search every corner of the map.

Ridiculous.

"oh we removed towers (you'll still have to go to them anyways if you want to see anything) and now every map has a boss (so you'll experience more wonky one shots to reduce your hard earned experience) and we've removed all enemy icons from the mini map so you effectively have to do a full clear anyway on these totally faster maps now"

Please GGG, this feature hurt no one by existing, and actually helped many of us.

I use rare icons to orient myself when blasting. Like what direction to open deli mirrors, gives a general feel of layout, etc. It was just information. You took that information away from us, without even telling us why.
Yeah this feels weird. Are the checkpoints still in the maps or have they also been removed? Pls put these handy features back in (if thats the case).
