It is currently impossible to buy some core itens on market duo to bots.

It has been perhaps 3 weeks that I started playing this season on PoE2 and about 2 weeks that I've been using the market daily now.

Since day one I've noticed how some itens are just VANISHING from the instant buyout market before even a second has passed. I'm not talking about being humanly slow or anything like that, but something beyond human capabilities.

Even with Live Search on https://www.pathofexile.com/trade2/, even if I'm directly looking at the screen with the mouse already positioned at the button, the INSTANT a new item appears, when I click on "Travel to Hideout", it shows that the item has already been sold. A transaction involving teleporting to someone's hideout, a loading screen, looking up the vendor stash in search for the purple icon displaying your desired item and clicking on it to buy it. Everything is done INSTANTLY, before it is even possible to just click on trade2 interface.

Now, this is not happening for a single item or just a few times, but hundreds of times daily. I know that there are probably hundreds or thousands of other players out there attempting to secure the same items I am and since I'm not playing from the US, I might have a delay or something before those itens are even being listed to me. But even so, after a week browsing for the same item, it should have been possible to secure at least one of it.

This has happened for Undying Hate Timeless Jewel Tecrod variant, Atalui's Bloodletting gem, Rathpith Sacred Focus, Defiance and many other items across dozens of hours on different parts of the day.

I'm left believing that this is the work of bots that somehow bypass the entire game UI and make the purchases directly via the backend, using external APIs and what not.

This is incredibly frustrating and most likely forcing the prices up up up.

Please take a look into these bots, search for unhuman behaviors, heck, even add some captcha or something harder to help prevent against bots. Damn it, as a computer scientist, I'd love to take a look at those numbers myself and search for these behaviors.

Now, if I'm completely wrong here and this is default human speed, how the heck can I speed up the browser update speed to secure those items? Is it possible to be faster within the game only? What am I missing?

LMAO you are trying to yoink the cheapest items. I just searched for Rathpinth and there are 5575 currently on the market. Are you saying they all just dissappear when you try to buy them?

Just scroll down the list and buy the next one. It's possible, you can do it.

It is. Empyrian posted a video from the bot perspective. They don't load anything except what they need to complete the transaction.

GGG could increase the gold friction. They might also be able to build in biometrics to the trade UI, to detect nonhuman clicking. I don't know whether the playerbase would be ok with having a biometric gesture profile created for each user. Technically, it wouldn't be difficult. Diplomatically though?

It's Early Access trade. Just buy items that are a bit more expensive.
