EU servers are terrible

The state of the EU servers in Path of Exile 2 is unacceptable. Frankfurt and Milan are constantly plagued with lag spikes and instability. Every player I know is experiencing the same problems, and many of us have reported it multiple times. Yet GGG has never once addressed these issues publicly. That silence is frustrating, because the problems are real and ongoing.

The biggest issue is dying during a lag spike. Losing maps and experience because of server instability creates negative progression. That combination simply does not work. Either the servers need to be fixed and stabilized, or negative progression mechanics (XP loss and map loss) need to be removed. Both at the same time is not acceptable.

I play on Frankfurt and have no issues at all with lag or instability, only thing bugging me is the piss poor performace in deli or abyss.

Yeah I play on EU and the spikes are terrible.I can either play early morning or late at night, any time other than those is unplayable.

iam pretty sure it is about the servers..i have crazy lagspikes showing via white graph = server.

There may be performance issues as well. Whatever it is, at this point its an issue that they should try so solve before its to late.

Damn, I wanted to make a nice jibe about the EU for laughs, then I realized I was in 2025 so I'd just get banned. Shame.

Who's the CDN yous are connecting to? They said in some of the interviews they dropped alot of providers that claimed DDoS protection but didn't have the chops.

Maybe they're having trouble filling the gap? Not an excuse, they need a solid CDN regardless, just curious.

Here we go Again: Abyss. 1 shot Ultima Chaosbeam of death 100 yards of range : Serverlagspike for 3 sek , iam dead 5% before level 90. You cant do this shit. Fix the Servers or get rid of Negativprogression. Adress this problem NOW.

Just out of curiosity are you using the stand alone version or steam version as with steam you can play via a vpn and choose any server you want, this should stop your lag spikes it does with me. Also the London server is very stable.

I havent got much problem lately on Frankfurt.

Before when there was really massive problems i was playing on Washington and didnt had any problem at all for latency/synchronisation, maybe you can try.

I went back to Frankfurt after 0.3 and it seem fixed for me compare to this summer.
Just sometimes i have like 1 sec where it's weird suddently but it's rare.
Still think Washington was better overall because i didnt had that there at all.
