Might have to nerf crafting slightly
Does anyone think Crafting a bit too powerful? I think keeping it this way for SSF players is ok but on trade league it's just way too strong.

I say this as an SSF player - I got bored of this league pretty quickly because of how powerful and easy crafting has gotten. Very straight forward to get 6 good lines on most of your gear and be strong enough to clear all endgame content comfortably aside from mega juiced maps.
There's no point in picking up blues or rares; you just get bases + currency then slam then with P blues, essence, fracture and desecration. Then depending on what you need you can get the remaining lines quite deterministically with omens. You'll be able to do this often with current T15/16 loot, even if you don't deli or have good tablet setups. It's not like every item will be identical, but the baseline strength you get deterministically is simply too much right now. And the variance resulting in stronger items is also too much - the league farming meta right now splitting loot or outright paying rarity bots to buff drops with a solo carry. It's absolutely inane. So to me, the game state right now kinda feels like playing an MMO where most players are guaranteed baseline gear to clear the latest, hardest content, but only the whales/super sweaty players will be meaningfully stronger than the rest. That's fine in the context of these games, but loot is half of what POE is about and if players stop caring about said loot, then the game has lost its way. |

I crafted a lot this league, and I think crafting is strong but it's fine for the most part. The problem is omen of homogenising, if they get rid of it, crafting will still be strong but at least we won't have the market flooded with deterministic t1 items

" I think this is a fair point, I agree. |

No, i think the so-called "crafting" system is a garbage slot machine. Regularly searching for items on trade with 0 results or 1 result that is 100+ divines and can't use the powerful omens and currency myself without spending a week farming the currency to afford the mats.
Expensive crafting mats kills build diversity because it forces the casuals like myself to trade for gear, and the only gear on the market is the stuff that pro players craft to sell which is geared toward the meta |
