Unlocking Special Maps (Mansion, Jade Isle, etc)

I just logged out of the game after running eight maps and finding eight stones to unlock a mansion, and it's still not unlocked. Unlocking any of the special maps often includes having to backtrack and redo maps that we've already done, which means we'll get little to no bonus for them since they've already been completed. GGG, I love your game. I have so much good to say about it. But seriously? Why intentionally beat players over the head with this level of tedium. Two or three stones/maps. Sure. I can see that. But upwards of seven, eight, or even nine. That just sucks. Not fun. At all.
