Why does my character always have to dismount from RHOA to open a portal..

This is getting ultra annoying, each time I wanna go to hideout I have to dismount and later again mount..

Because you'd otherwise have to smack your poor chicken in the head to do the hand circles wavy wavy thing and that's animal abuse

There's also an annoying bug where you randomly can't use a skill tied to 2nd weapon set until you manually swap weapon sets, which then dismounts you and spawns a new Rhoa to mount.
