That immortal snake

How can it be that we are constantly attacked in our animation and this stupid Abyssal snake can do whatever it wants and is simply immortal?

I really like all the changes, but it's really hard not to sweat every time I see an abyss in a map because in 75% of the cases I lose a lot of XP and that makes leveling really hard..
