Map Failed-you suck

I’d like to give some feedback regarding the current map system in Path of Exile 2. Right now, if a map attempt fails, you cannot retry it. This feels extremely punishing and frustrating, because it means permanent negative progress. Players naturally reject mechanics that erase progress like this – it doesn’t feel fair, and it discourages engagement with mapping. There is no meaningful benefit to locking players out of retrying a map. Instead, it creates a negative loop: lost progress, wasted investment, and frustration. Please consider changing this so that maps can be retried, or at least that failure does not completely destroy progress. Thanks for reading, and I hope you’ll reconsider this design.
