Thunderous Leap Detonator

So I had a build idea and when I tried the skill combo it doesn't work but I feel like you guys should have it work. So I wanted to try too see if I could make a Thunderous Leap grenade detonator build with the new cannon totem but it doesn't detonate grenades only spears I feel like the game doesn't describe this in-game well enough at least since it doesn't say detonate spears only in the skill gem.

Wanted to add that since we have the new weapon swap and since combo based stuff is kind of the plan in PoE 2 too some degree I feel like not being able to combo this doesn't feel right and hopefully you could look over the in-game skill interactions and make them work more between weapon types more to enable bigger build variety even if some of those builds might just end up being a meme setup.
