Could there be a tutorial tab?

Hi. I’m new to the genre somewhat. There has been many places where I have to idea how to do what I’m supposed to do. Example: in act 4 when you go to the treasure island to do the logbook mechanics. It took me watching a YouTube video to understand what it all involved. I would haves liked an In game way to view it. Other games usually have a tutorial tab with explanations of mechanics and short videos or photos. Thank you.
